This is to notify members of the Leafmore-Creek Park Hills Civic Association, Inc. that the Association will hold a members' meeting on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at 7:30 pm, at the Leafmore Club Clubhouse on Altamont Drive.
Agenda: (1) Realtor Rob Holley's review and discussion of 2019 Leafmore-Creek Park Hills residential property sales and trends; (2) the first of a planned series of Leafmore-Creek Park Hills, Oak Grove, Emory, Tucker area history programs with this one being presented by Mr. Jeff Darter, local railroad historian, traveler, and author, on the Seaboard Air Line Railroad's passenger trains that stopped variously at Tucker, Emory University, and/or Atlanta, and passing the eastern boundary of the L-CPH neighborhood twice daily during the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s, including the "Silver Comet", the "Cotton Blossom", and the "Seaboard Passenger, Mail, and Express"; and (3) Association membership and treasury update and other administrative matters, as/if necessary.
The Civic Association has initiated and is continuing its 2020-2021 Membership Campaign.
